If you raise the reso- nance and turn the Cutoff knob or adjust EG Int and De- cay , you will hear the typical "meow-ing" sound typical of analog synthesizers. Realtime recording Use the Keyboard function to play the step keys at the exact timing you wish to record them.

The EA-1 will calculate the interval at which you pressed the Tap key, and will change the tempo accordingly. Inserting a pattern at a specified position Insert Pattern You can insert a pattern at a specified position, and subsequent patterns will be moved backward toward the end of the song. Convenient functions for editing patterns If you wish to save the pattern you edit using these func- tions, you must perform the Write operation before se- lecting a different pattern or turning off the power.
